Mosfilm is a historic film studio located in a desirable location within Moscow. This development includes a movie and concert hall with its sound stage for rehearsals and filming. Around the movie and concert hall is extensive landscaping including high-end residential developments.

LAPD illuminated the facades and all internal and external areas of the movie and concert hall, as well as the landscape lighting around the site and the grounds of all the residential developments.

The lighting illuminates pathways through the sites using integrated light where possible within the fabric of the landscape, handrails, and benches. This allows illuminated routes to create character and focal points at low levels while minimising energy consumption, reducing glare, and avoiding stray light in unwanted places.

Where integration was impossible, low-level lighting is continued using bollards and low-level wall lighting.

The presence of sculptures with dedicated lighting and seating shelters creates additional focal points. Lighting within the shelters creates a glare-free glow to promote feelings of comfort and relaxation.

To reduce the impact of the artificial lighting at night, a warm colour temperature has been used throughout the landscaped area. In addition, there is minimal use of uplighting. The façade of the concert hall itself is illuminated exclusively using downlighting, which is controlled to create a shimmering effect across the building. The stray light from this is used to illuminate walkways from the car park to the main building entrance.
