Berry Bros. & Rudd is Britain’s oldest fine wine and spirits merchant, founded in London, England in 1698.
Following the success of their 63 Pall Mall wine shop, Berry Bros. & Rudd has opened its first dedicated spirits shop and tasting room at 1 St. James’s Street.
The spirits shop’s lighting draws on the wine shop’s lighting, creating a coherent design and lit environment while integrating special lighting elements.
Linear integrated shelf lighting highlights the spirits’ labels. The Reserve’s precious liquids are placed on backlit shelves, allowing unhindered views into the locked glass cabinets and glowing liquids.
Miniature spotlights highlight the wooden ceiling, made of Whiskey barrels, reminding customers of the spirit’s origins.
Bluetooth-controlled lighting scenes change the atmosphere at the push of a button.
The new shop widens Berry Bros. & Rudd’s spirits offer and connects their new shop via a door to their wines shop next door.
